After many years of raising a family, I returned to school and in 2006 graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Initially, I worked with children and teens in a community mental health setting. After that I spent seven years working with my local hospice as a bereavement counselor. I very much enjoyed both of these. Beyond these, I spent five years as a Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at locations from Alaska to Germany to Guam. My career was short circuited by the pandemic and I began pursuing online counseling. This has been the most rewarding part of my work life as I have been able to apply all of my life experiences in ways that encourage and guide my clients to make the changes they desire for a more joyful and fulfilled life.
Today I live with my cat, Mack and am proud to finally be a grandmother.
